Best Cuban food and coffee. We went here before the Fl Keys and after a month. Still wonderful. Tried Cuban 6 or 7 places in the Keys but nothing as good. Food here is fresh, meats tender and beef empanadas have a surprise - green olive. Delicious!!!!

Ordered food from Postmates today. I had a taste for chicken noodle soup. Since this is my first time eating here, I decided to try one new thing from the menu- something I've never had. Being adventurous, I ordered the fried yuca. They were delicious!!! I would definite get them again. The soup was good as well, great flavor in the broth.

After a long day at the Everglades we were in search for something fast and filling and I am so glad we came across this place. This cafe is the best food we had while visiting Florida. The food was authentic, service was quick and price was ridiculously cheap.
We had a sandwich Cubano and the ropa vieja, the Cuban sandwich was by far the best Cuban sandwich I've ever tasted the shredded pork inside the nice toasted bread was melt in your mouth. And the ropa vieja was perfectly cooked and flavorful along with the delicious plantains, rice and black beans. Next time we're back in Florida we will be back here forsure and I will recommend this place to anyone I know visiting the area.

This is not the worst Cuban food but certainly not the best. It falls in between, good size portions and the service was OK. They just drop off your food and disappear. Was I disappointed, NO as the price and quality of the food matched! It beats Romeo's hands down but do not expect great Cuban food. I had the lechón asado, white rice, black beans and what appeared to be a cross between a tostone and a plátano maduro! It was served cold and certainly not freshly fried. The lechon asado had a bit too much naranja agria ( sour orange) or mojo.  Two meals and three cokes, two cafecitos came in around $24 bucks.  I will try it again as the reviews here are much better than my first experience, perhaps it was an off day.

Another visit to Pedritos with some friends. Friendly service but as in my previous review they drop off the food and disappear. I wanted to try their Cuban sandwich which is priced at 6.95 and comes with fries(great price) but it was heavy on the ham and weak on the pork! In addition the ham was cold! Pricing here is good but the attention to detail is not. My friends did seem to enjoy their food ( perhaps because I was paying :-)) I am still keeping with 3 stars as the price is right and portion size is good but quality seems a hit or miss. As stated before this restaurant does not rate as 4.5 star restaurant.

I took my inlaws on this trip to Pedritos as they enjoy Cuban cuisine. We ordered two carne asada, one lechon asado and one masas de puerco. It took 20 plus minutes to receive our order, that should have been our clue that something was amiss. The carne asada had the texture of a fried shoe sole and tasted like it was weeks old meat! The masas de puerco had a funny yellow color and where tasteless. My lechon asado was good no complaints. The rice and black beans were OK, we sent back the masas as they were un-eatable! They need to understand a tostone is made with green plantain not a ripe one. It appears some of this food was old, reheated and served. Unsuspecting diners would never know, but I have had Cuban food all my life and it should not taste like this.. Overall this was a giant miss and I will never be back to Pedritos, the quality and service is going downhill fast since my last visit.. Do not know what's going on but this will be my last visit. There are better options in West Pines. Review revised to 2 Stars. Do not understand the great Yelp community rating!

Perfect!! Very clean spot with Great Food! The pork is perfect and the black beans are out of this world. I loved the Cuban Coffee. If you are in the area, you must stop. This place gets it.

Crowd was ver diverse, Customers and waitstaff.
